Meet Dr. Jenée Kaplan
Hi! I'm Dr. Jenée Kaplan, and I couldn’t be more excited to join the Bigman Orthodontics family and become part of the San Ramon community. It’s wonderful to be back home in California. After finishing my training at Loma Linda, I purchased a practice in Colorado Springs, where I met my husband, who is also an orthodontist — and my father is a retired orthodontist too, so orthodontics has always been a big part of our lives.
I earned my degree at Loma Linda University and completed my Master’s there in its orthodontic residency program. My approach to care has always been centered on trust: I listen to each patient’s goals, walk them through their options, and tailor treatment to their lifestyle so the experience feels personal from start to finish.
My husband and I are active in the community with our two boys, who play swimming, soccer, water polo and mountain biking. Together, Dr. Bigman and I are dedicated to a smooth transition while keeping the warm, family-oriented environment that has always been the foundation of this office.

Dr. Sandy Bigman founded the practice and cared for San Ramon families for more than three decades. He and Dr. Kaplan worked through the transition together so established patients could continue their care in the same office.

Do you accept insurance, HSA, or FSA?
We accept all insurance plans and review your orthodontic benefits with you at your first visit. You can also use HSA or FSA funds to pay for treatment.
When should a child first see an orthodontist?
An early evaluation can identify how the teeth and jaws are developing. An evaluation does not automatically mean treatment starts; many children are monitored until the timing is right.
What happens after I request an appointment?

The orthodontic office is in Suite 102 on the main floor, through the center atrium and to the left of the waterfall. Canyon Lakes Dental is a separate practice in Suite 105, so look for Suite 102 when you arrive.
